What is yours, what is ours, and who handles your site's code while your plan runs.

1. The rule in one line
Your content and your brand are yours, and so is your site's design once the conditions in section 4 are met. Everything behind it — the platform, the infrastructure and the assistant — is ours.
2. What is always yours
You retain full ownership of:
- The copy, photographs, videos, logos and illustrations you provide.
- Your brand, your trade name and your distinctive signs.
- Your business data: prices, hours, services, schedule and the contacts your site captures.
- The domain, where it is registered in your name.
You grant us a non-exclusive, limited and revocable licence to host, technically adapt (resize, convert, compress) and display that material on your site, for the sole purpose of providing the service. That licence ends when the contract ends.
By giving us content you warrant that you hold the rights needed to do so. If a third party makes a claim over material you supplied, that claim is yours to answer.
3. What is ours
VRIZ is the exclusive owner of everything that makes your site work:
- The VRIZ platform: the portal, the assistant, the system that designs sites and its instructions, and the one that publishes and serves them.
- The infrastructure they run on: servers, storage, databases, network and their configuration.
- The functionality that runs on our servers: bookings, the waiting list, the events calendar, forms and the inbox where whatever your site captures arrives.
- The tooling, the documentation and any improvement to the platform.
- Generic techniques, patterns and code fragments — those not specific to your site — which we may keep using freely.
- The VRIZ brand, the logo and the graphic elements of this corporate site.
While your plan is active we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to use the platform for your own business purposes.
4. Your site's design
Your site's design is its appearance and its own code: the templates, the stylesheets and the page composition, as we prepare them for your business.
It becomes yours once both conditions are met:
- You have paid for at least one period of one of our plans.
- You did not cancel the plan or request the guarantee refund within 30 days of your first payment.
Until then — during the free trial, or if you cancel or request a refund within those 30 days — the design remains ours. Your content is yours in every case.
Once the design is yours, we will not reuse its specific appearance for another customer.
5. Who handles the code while your plan runs
Even when the design is yours, while your plan is active, authority over your site's code is ours. We are the ones who write, change and maintain it, and we may change it to fix errors, keep it secure, adapt it to new browsers and devices, or comply with the law.
You change your site from the portal or by asking the assistant. While the plan runs, no direct access to the code is handed over and no code written by third parties is published. A design change you ask for stays in your draft and only goes live when you approve it.
That authority ends with your plan.
6. What you may not do
- Copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the platform, the assistant or the infrastructure.
- Resell, sublicense or transfer access to the service to third parties.
- Use the VRIZ brand in a way that suggests an association, sponsorship or partnership that does not exist.
7. What you take with you
If you end the contract and request it within 60 days, we hand over:
- Your content — copy and images in their original or equivalent formats — for you to use wherever you like.
- The data your site collected — bookings, requests, contacts — as a spreadsheet file (CSV).
- Your site in a standard format, if the design is yours under section 4: its pages in HTML and CSS, with their images and stylesheets, ready to host wherever you prefer. From then on you may use it, modify it and have anyone you choose maintain it, with no time limit and nothing to pay us.
Not handed over is the functionality that runs on our servers: bookings, the waiting list, the events calendar and forms remain in the copy as design, without function. Nor are the platform, the assistant or the infrastructure. Third-party resources your site uses — typefaces, libraries — keep their own licences.
8. Suggestions
If you propose a product improvement, we may implement and use it freely, with no obligation to pay and no right accruing in your favour. This does not affect ownership of your content or your design in any way.
9. Infringement claims
If you believe content published through VRIZ infringes your rights, write to legal@vriz.io stating what the material is, where it is published, what right you hold and how to reach you. We review every notice and take material down where appropriate.
10. Owner
The rights this policy gives VRIZ belong to its owner, Alfonso Miguel Evangelista Concepción, trading as VRIZ, based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
